Exol Lubricants
About this project
Exol Lubricants has been a long-standing customer of Pennant Electrical Services LTD who has been providing reactive and planned maintenance for over 5 years. We have provided exol with a 24/7 call out service, as well as all their potential electrical requirements, from changing a lamp in a panel indicator to installing new substations.
We supported Exol Lubricants with all their needs and worked with a variety of different contractors to install all different types of systems, from hydraulic pigging system, new water treatment systems and removing all electrical to fire and automation cabling and equipment from half of their production factory to allow for it to be demolished then have a new factory built in its place.
Once the new factory was built, we had to reinstall it all again. Installing a new substation, automation panels and all large and small distribution switchgear.

Student Beehive
About this project
Student Beehive, Regent Road was a refurbished development that required a whole new electrical installation. An office to the residential conversation to create 73 new apartments over 4 stories.
With Regent Road located within close proximity to Leicester city centre, with multiple universities around, it makes an excellent location for visiting students to live and study from.
This high standard, as the regeneration works will be increasing job roles and local traction to come to visit this city, enabled our client to bring top-quality city living to an area with so much to give to all local amenities and businesses while still providing privacy and security.

Dunelm Mill Distribution Centre
About this project
Due to Dunelm Mill Distribution Centre having a busy distribution centre in the Stoke-on-Trent area that operates 24 hours a day, they were concerned that in the event of a power cut they could potentially loose valuable production time, so tasked us with installing 2 x standby generators to their site.
Working with the client, we surveyed the sites for incoming power supplies and agreed on the size of generators and positions for them to be housed. Once agreed, our team of skilled engineers went about installing all new switchgear and containment to all required locations.
Working with one of our trusted partners, we had new concrete bases installed for the standby units to be placed on. We arranged with the client for a convenient time to have a factory shut down to enable the units to be placed into the factory’s electrical distribution system.

Real Education – Landmark
About this project
Working with Real Education on many projects before, we were asked to help them with their next project of changing a community centre into a new school or college.
Real Education was established in 2008 to provide creative solutions for children and young people, between the ages of 7 and 19, who may be “lost to learning” or “hard to place”.
We were tasked with changing this old building into a fresh-looking vibrant place for learning with new lighting and power throughout all areas within the new learning centre, such as classrooms, pod-based areas for small group working, toilets, as well as a new gym.
We were also tasked with installing a fire alarm system, access control and CCTV system throughout.

Veolia Waste Management
About this project
Due to Veolia Waste Management planning on installing new machinery and equipment to the site and there being insufficient supply and distribution boards positioned around the site, they decided to install a new L.V transformer and substation, a new 2000amp panel board and multiple sub-distribution boards in various positions around the site.
Due to this, we were required to install a new ladder rack, HG tray work and basket containment system around the site.
Working with Lindhurst Engineering LTD, we were tasked with installing all new swa cabling to all required locations. We installed a variety of distribution types from busbar chambers, panel boards and 3 phase distribution boards.
Once completed, Veolia Waste Management was able to move forward with all their expansion plans and have all new equipment installed.
